Feed Notes
While I currently have a feed that includes Calfire, it also includes Butte County Sheriff's Office, Paradise Police, Search & Rescue and other channels and during the summer, these channels compete and conflict with so much traffic.
I intend this second feed to be specifically for CalFire main dispatch and CalFire "Butte Command" which is used for all wildland fire response. Butte County has suffered a number of huge fires in the last 5 years including the 2018 Camp Fire which destroyed Paradise, parts of Magalia, 18,000 structures and killed 85 people, the 2020 North Fire which destroyed most of south Butte County foothills and mountains and then the Dixie Fire last year which was the 2nd largest fire in California history.
I have a location where radio reception will not be a problem for any CalFire repeater in Butte County so audio should be crystal clear regardless which repeater CalFire is transmitting from.
