Local Lake Elsinore Multicom/Unicom Radio Air-Air Communications*
- 122.9 Multicoms - Generally this will be Lake Elsinore and Skylark Airport. New pilots to the area are constantly being advised to avoid the area, and to either turn around or to proceed to the eastern side of the 15 freeway. (Jumpers at 14-17k+) Call in Unicoms and check for jumpers*.
This is to protect parajumpers from aircraft. - 122.8 Unicoms - Generally aircraft travelling through the area are advised to avoid using the multicom for any other reasons than emergencies. General communications from Skylark with other pilots are transmitted generally on the unicoms.
You will hear a lot of French Valley traffic and advisories from Lake Elsinore.
