This is a PC-based, Linux-OS-running computer, that has the darkice live audio streamer installed on it, and is already streaming audio to a private web site. It is connected to a fire department base station, which is currently monitoring Lake County Quad 1. It will monitor the following fire/rescue departments: Beach Park, North Chicago, Winthrop Harbor & Zion.
