Feed Notes

This feed is temporarily down due to reorganization. It will be back up in the coming weeks.

PSFeed is providing linked audio to Fire-Rescue Dispatch and primary on scene TG. Note- there is approx 35 second delay from actual audio.

911 Dispatch services are provide by the Pitt County 911 center. The City of Greenville utilizes the State of North Carolina VIPER (Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders) 800MHz trunk network. Fire Department operations are primarily conducted on system talk groups while some on scene operations in heavy penetration areas are conducted on tactical (simplex) channels. Fire stations in the city are paged simulcast through UHF tone paging and on the 800MHz VIPER system. After the initial page all further radio traffic is conducted strictly on the 800Mhz VIPER talk groups.
