UPRR Geneva Sub

Welcome to the UPRR Geneva Sub radio feed.

This feed is located in Chicago, IL and covers the east end of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Geneva Subdivision; including many operations at and around Ogilvie Transportation Center.  From this location, we can hear locomotive radios in the immediate Chicago vacinity as well as transmissions on the California Avenue, Lake Street, and Elmhurst radio towers.  Defect detectors within radio range of this location only talk on defect.

• 160.890 MHz - UP Geneva Sub (Chicago Terminal Dispatcher [Dispatcher 349]).

Equipment: Kenwood TK-7180 paired with a TrainTenna antenna, located indoors on the top floor of a 5-story building.  Broadcast uses Audio Hijack for Mac.
