RAQI Trans-Québec Network (RTQ) – Amateur Radio Communications Feed

This feed carries activity from the Réseau Trans-Québec (RTQ), a province-wide amateur radio network operated by the Fédération des clubs radioamateurs du Québec (RAQI). The RTQ interconnects multiple VHF and UHF repeaters across Québec to provide a shared communications backbone for amateur radio operators, particularly during significant events, public service activities, and emergency communications operations.

The network links dozens of repeaters distributed across the province of Québec, allowing radio amateurs to communicate over large distances through a coordinated system of permanently linked repeaters. In many areas, the network provides seamless regional coverage by automatically relaying transmissions between sites.

During periods of heightened activity—such as severe weather monitoring, public safety support, or telecommunications outages—the RTQ may be used for coordinated radio watch operations, situation reporting, and information exchange between amateur operators and partner organizations.
