This feed will provide audio from talkgroups on the NC VIPER P25 system via the Boone VIPER site (Tower Complex #1) and analog frequencies (Tower Complex #2) used by Watauga County public safety services, all of which are located at the very top of Rich Mountain. These coverage areas include Appalachian State University, Boone, Blowing Rock (has districts in Caldwell County), Beech Mountain (has districts in Avery County), Seven Devils, and any other communities in Watauga County and into neighboring counties for mutual aid. Blue Ridge Parkway's P25 repeater located on Rich Mountain is also included in this stream via 173.7625.

Also monitored is the KB4W Repeater on 443.975 (Echolink 883972), located on Rich Mountain, overlooking Appalachian State University.
