The scanner is a Whistler WS1040 purchased in 2025, from the newly reopened Whistler group. It's monitoring approximately 35 conventional frequencies including police, fire, transportation, and forestry, plus the statewide P25 digital networks for Ohio and West Virginia. The audio is processed by Stereo Tool on a Windows laptop, and streamed using the RadioFeed software. Metadata for streaming is provided by Butel ARC500 software running virtual console.
