Feed Notes

The East Central Emergency Network has migrated to new digital radios on the PA-STARNet P25 radio system.

This is the only feed dedicated to monitoring Fire/EMS dispatch and operations in Columbia and Montour counties, which currently includes:

Both counties share the same talkgroups. It is not possible to separate radio activity by county.

This audio feed is broadcast using SDRTrunk. All calls on the talkgroups above are recorded and played back sequentially, so you will never miss anything.

Update: We have now enabled de-duplication to reduce the number of repeated transmissions from dispatchers that occur when they transmit on Fire and EMS talkgroups simultaneously. To ensure you don't miss anything, we had to modify the de-duplication logic in SDRTrunk to better handle duplicates across multiple talkgroups, which is why we weren't able to do this sooner.

Note: Some of the analog frequencies from the old system remain active for paging purposes. Other feeds, such as the "Columbia and Montour County Fire and EMS Dispatch" feed continue to monitor only the old analog frequencies, and, as a result, will only have dispatches and not operational traffic.
