The scanner feed consists of a Radio Shack Pro-652 with a Audio Isolation transformer (eleminates hum) into a Windows 10 streaming PC.

FIRE TONE OUT TEXTS ALERTS

CURRENTLY SUSPEND - Fire Tone out text notifications are currently suspended while software issues are being troubleshot - 10/12/2024

The streaming computer can now send you texts of the fire department (and EMS) tone outs on a per department basis. It will include an audio clip of the page. This way you no longer have to listen to the scanner for hours and not hear a tone out. It can be configured to alert you on specific departments (say Huntsville and Clifty) or as many as all the departments. If you are intrested please email your phone number and cell phone service provider to scanner72740@gmail.com with "Add me to text paging" in the subject. Please note this is a manual process and may take a day or two before I can get to it. Thank you!
