Talkgroups scanned on Dare County P25 800MHZ simulcast system:

  • Fire (includes all dispatch and TAC talkgroups)
  • EMS (including Medflight)
  • Ocean Rescue (including beach lifeguards for Kitty Hawk and Nags Head)
  • Public safety interop frequencies (includes any assigned NC VIPER system patches)
  • Sherrif and town PD unencrypted operations frequencies (only used during events, no dispatch traffic)

VHF channels are no longer scanned. Dare County Sheriff's Dept ("DCSO") and town police departments (aka "Beach Law")  are encrypted and no longer able to be received. 

Feed is currently provided by a Uniden SDS200 scanner fed by a roof mounted 850MHz antenna
