Notes:

  1. SITES:
(We're listening to FleetNet Zone 2)

    Site 7:
KINBURN is our nearest tower (located in the tranquil Marathon Village, [2121 Shanna Rd]) which is not ideal for monitoring the 3T traffic, but isn't too bad, as it's just adjacent to the much better utilized Mt. St. Patrick tower.  On a Motorola Type II system (SmartZone) if there is not any 3T radio/unit logged on to the Kinburn tower then you won't hear any chatter from the 3T units until such radio using that TG logs on to this site.

Site 6: Sometimes we're also listening to the Ottawa tower atop the
CARLISLE building, [221 Lyon St. N.] which is on the other side of our listening post, and it comes in pretty strong accross the city using an external antenna.

  2. Map :: Yellow box denotes the towers we are monitoring,
from the purple box (listening post) in beautiful Kanata Lakes:

  3. AVAILABILITY:  I'm not always online (sometimes I take my scanner out with me) but usually I am at home and will try to be online as much as possible.
