Feed Notes

Adams County Fire Dispatch: 46.18. Scanner is located in Littlestown, south-east corner of county.

All Adams County public safety have migrated onto a P25 Phase 2 800 MHz system, with the exception of tone dispatching for fire and EMS units.  Fire and EMS dispatch is simulcast on this low band frequency (repeater output).  You will hear units dispatched and responding on this frequency, then all operations are moved to another channel not heard on this feed.

Note that another feed provider has a scanner set up with the digital channels if you want to monitor operations traffic.

This feed is maintained for personnel in the county that need to hear dispatch traffic primarily, such as with the Active911 auto open feature on your smartphone.  It is the same frequency used by the minitor pagers.

On Air 30NOV2010. Scanner is now a GRE PSR-600 with a rooftop mounted Larsen BSA-45C antenna.
