Feed Notes

This is an Amateur Radio feed from a centrally located receiving station on a high-gain (11 dBi) antenna in Utah County, Utah. The audio feed comes from an FM analog reciever on a fixed frequency of 447.825 MHz.  It is a local simplex operating frequency in the 70-centimeter band that our simplex group, Sultans of Simplex, uses.  It receives moderate use throughout the day and considerable use in the evenings, depending on the day.  The content of this audio feed operates within the limits and rules specified by the FCC according to part 97, which governs Amateur Radio operation in the US.
