Temple University Police Dispatch
|Temple University Police Dispatch||Public Safety
The Temple University Police Department is tasked with enforcing the law on the Temple Univerity Main Campus in North Philadelphia as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods and communities. This stream monitors the Temple University Police Department dispatch channel (460.4 MHz) which is used for day-to-day operations. At certain times of day this channel is quiet; however, it becomes very active around shift changes (typically around 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM) as well as whenever events or crime occur in the area. I recommend listening to this stream along with a Philadelphia Police stream to stay fully informed.
Temple Police Dispatch is a DMR system that only uses one time slot and talk group. This feed is being broadcast from a software defined radio system.
The primary purpose of this feed is to keep the residents and business owners of North Philadelphia informed about what is happening in our community.
