Feed Notes

This feed monitors the following channels:

  • 453.65000 - Greenville City Fire Department - UHF Rebroadcast
    • Although Greenville City uses a digitally-trunked radio system, they rebroadcast their station alerts on this channel. You will only hear the dispatch side of the conversation on this channel.
  • 154.17500 - Greer City Fire Department Dispatch
    • You will also hear Pelham-Batesville and Tiger River (Spartanburg County) on this frequency as well. Greer City Fire Dispatch alerts these stations for mutual aid and assistance with calls in the city area.
  • 453.37500 & 458.37500 - Parker Fire District - UHF Rebroadcast
    • Although Parker Fire District uses a digitally-trunked radio system, they rebroadcast their station alerts on this channel.
    • Parker Fire District's rebroadcast is extremely low volume. This is not a problem with this feed.
  • 154.38500 - Taylors Fire Dispatch
  • 154.26500 & 154.44500 - Wade Hampton Fire Department - Alert & Dispatch
    • Wade Hampton Fire Department sends alert tones over one frequency and conducts all other communication over another frequency. During heavy traffic periods, the resync to the next channel for the alert message may not occur properly after a set of tones.

This feed is being provided by a RadioShack PRO-89 scanner. The feed server is running Windows.

NOTE: All of the channels on this feed conduct radio checks during the day. Most conduct a radio check between 07:45-08:15. Some also conduct another alert test in the evening at 18:00 or 19:00. During these times, this feed may be extremely busy and traffic may overlap heavily.
