Feed Notes
This feed broadcasts the W8SRC repeater system located just north of Dexter, MI operating on 446.150 MHz with a minus offset and a 100 Hz PL tone. It transmits 72 watts ERP from an antenna 974' ASL (32' AGL). This repeater features a digital NOAA weather alert receiver, a VHF/UHF remote base, and Yaesu System Fusion access (due to equipment limitations, this feed carries analog FM audio only). It has approximately a 10-mile portable coverage and a 30-mile mobile coverage.
The repeater equipment includes a Yaesu DR-1X repeater, an S-COM 7330 controller, a Hustler G6-440 antenna, and a CAT WX-250 weather receiver. The remote base is a Kenwood TS-2000 with a Comet GP-15 antenna up 24' AGL. Future plans for the repeater are an EchoIRLP node and a DVR echo test feature.
