Amateur Radio repeaters that provide coverage for the following counties in Texas: Midland, Ector, Winkler, Culberson, Reeves, Jeff Davis, Pecos, Ward, Loving, Upton, Crane, Andrews, Gaines, Dawson, Martin, Howard, Glasscock, Reagan, Irion, Tom Green, Sterling, Glasscock, Kent, Garza, Mitchell, Lubbock, Terry, and Hockley. 

 

This system is known as the West Texas Permian Network. It is a system of repeaters that are full-duplex linked via an RoIP server. It covers a large portion of West Texas and West Central Texas. The system is equipped with SAME (Specific Area Message Encoding) Alert Decoding capabilities and alerts all users in real time of severe alerts issued by the National Weather Service.
