K9WZ Repeater 147.2850 MHz

The K9WZ Repeater located in Plymouth, Indiana transmitting on 147.2850 Mhz. using a PL tone of 131.8 Hz. With the transmit antenna at 400 foot and four remote receivers the system covers most of the Northern part of the State and part of Southern Michigan. Other features are Echolink & IRLP for voice over IP contacts with other amateurs all around the world. During inclement weather conditions area hams use the system to relay tornado sightings and damage to the National Weather Service in North Webster Indiana.
