The Central Ohio Severe Weather Network is the Central Ohio Amateur Radio section net for the National Weather Service office located in Wilmington, Ohio. Providing real-time weather spotter reports for the following counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hocking, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, Ross and Union.
This feed is received on an Icom Q7A, fed to an old laptop running Linux, which streams to RadioReference. It is backed-up by battery, but at the mercy of a DSL connection.
