Feed Notes

Hello Broadcastify/Radio Reference Propeller Hat Friends!

I will be running a GRECOM PSR800 EZ with Mono Feed into a RaspberryPi 4 using Darkice and IceCast2 via a DDNS server on a secure segmented VLAN. I have a ground loop protector in betwen the scanner and the audio card on the Raspi to prevent hissing and clicks. Audio is quite clear, feed will be setup in the center of Richmond, CA.

Recently our local feed was taken down due to the fact that the feed owner put up erroneous alerts numerous times. It appears as though another feed is trying to cover our needs, but our nextdoor group would like something local so we do not need to listen to all the surrounding agencies.

Here is what I will be scanning:

East Bay Regional Communications System:

7726 1e2e D CCSO West Dispatch West
6054 17a6 D CONFD E1 Wst West Dispatch
7505 1d51 D Richmond PD1 Police Dispatch  Law Dispatch
7506 1d52 D Richmond PD2 Police Ch 2  Law Tac
6300 189c D Richmond FD Ann Fire All Call  Fire Dispatch
6305 18a1 D Richmond FD1 Fire Dispatch  Fire Dispatch
6306 18a2 D Richmond FD2 Fire Tac 1  Fire-Tac
6307 18a3 D Richmond FD3 Fire Tac 2  Fire-Tac
6308 18a4 D Richmond FD4 Fire Tac 3  Fire-Tac
6309 18a5 D Richmond FD5 Fire Tac 4  Fire-Tac
6310 18a6 D Richmond FD6 Fire Tac 5  Fire-Tac
6316 18ac D Richmond FD12 Fire Emergency  Emergency Ops

I have a 2 second priority set for the Richmond PD 1 Talkgroup.

Feel free to let me know if you think this feed is too redundant, or I should add or remove any talkgroups or channels. I am strongly considering pairing this down to just Richmond since there seems to be good coverage on the Contra Costa County side so I am very amenable to making that change.
