Providing 2 feeds, Fire on 1st channel and Police and EMS on the 2nd channel. With the Montgomery County Communications Center acquiring more police departments, especially the larger ones and spreading out the departments over additional it has become more difficult to monitor these departments from the current available feeds. Also providing fire communications from a more defined section of the county will allow listeners a better selection for their listening needs. EMS dispatch will be provided but with most communication between dispatch and the EMS units via MDC's those talk groups will be limited in actual voice. Monitoring will be provided with a Motorola XTS-2500 for the Fire frequencies/talk groups and a RS PRO-197 for the police and EMS frequencies/talkgroups. The fire talk groups will include Fire East Disp, Fire Regions 4, 5, and 6, Events 4, 5, 6, and Emergency as well as EMS Disp. The PRO-197 will monitor Police Regions 5, 6, and 9. Location will be from a home system with a connection via Verizon Fios.
