Being broadcast is Merced County EMS and Merced County Inter-Agency Mutual-Aid. 

All Frequencies are being broadcast from a Uniden BCT15X scanner with alpha tags also being broadcast using software. 

“Med-9 (Dispatch)” is the priority channel and will interrupt any other channel being broadcast. 

All broadcast may have up to a 90-second delay from time of actual transmission. 

Merced County EMS

Merced County has two EMS channels which is operated by Riggs Ambulance Service;

Med-9 (462.9500 MHz PL 123.0). Alpha tag “Med-9 (Dispatch)”

800 (859.4625 MHz PL 71.9). Alpha tag “Riggs Ambulance”

Med-9 is used for dispatching calls, crews going on scene, transporting to and arriving at the hospitals. 800 is used for post moves and other information that doesn't need to be broadcast over the Med Net radio.

Med-Express is a non-emergency wheelchair transport that is also dispatched by Riggs Ambulance Service over 800 with the radio identifier "Wheelchair".

Riggs Ambulance Service's Dispatchers also advises the CalFire Dispatchers of the MMU unit “Mariposa” of medical calls within Merced County via Med-9.

Post-11 — Mercy Medical Center Merced

Post-12 — Merced City (North City)

Post-21 — Merced City (Central Merced)

Post-22 — Riggs Ambulance Headquarters

Post-24 — Merced City (16th street & V street)

Post-31 — Atwater City

Post-33 — Livingston (Hwy 99 & Winton Parkway)

Post-41 — Dos Palos City (Medic-3 is the 24-hour unit assigned to Dos Palos)

Post-42 — El Nido (Merced County Fire Station-83)

Post-43 — Dos Palos Wye (Hwy 152 & Hwy 33)

Post-51 — Los Banos City (Medic-1 and Medic-2 are the 24-hour units assigned to Los Banos)

Post-55 — Los Banos City (Pacheco Blvd & Ward Road)

Post-61 — Delhi

Post-71 — Gustine City

Post-73 — Newman City (Stanislaus County)

NOTE: Post-71 and Post-73 are covered by Westside Ambulance (Westside-87 & Westside-88) who is subcontracted and dispatched by Riggs Ambulance Service to cover the Gustine and Santa Nella areas of Merced County.
