General Aviation and Marine/Coast Guard  Frequencies in the Southern RI area and nearby SE CT

Receiver is located in Hopkinton, RI.   Reception of taxiing aircraft at the airports and some vessels (particularly in Narragansett Bay) may not be be possible due to my location.  Airborne aircraft, Coast Guard sectors/stations, and vessels at sea are usually no problem.  CTAF (Common Traffic Advisory Frequencies) are used  by most small airports that dont have a control tower. Pilots coordinate their approaches and departures amongst themselves on these radio frequencies.  There's only about a half dozen CTAF frequencies so each one is assigned to multiple airports. Therefore you may occasionally hear airborne aircraft near other airports some distance away.   Broadcastify policies prevent me from carrying military air and Coast Guard frequencies.

Alpha text is available to show you what frequencies you are hearing.  This is available when using certain apps such as Scanner Radio.

Aviation Frequencies:

123.0  CTAF for Westerly Airport (KWST) & Block Island Airport (KBID).    You may also hear aircraft and skydiving operations at Danielson and Ellington airports in Connnecticut on this shared CTAF frequency.

122.8  CTAF for Richmond Airport (08R)  & Fishers Island Airport (0B8)

123.05 CTAF for Newport Airport (KUUU)

125.6  Groton Tower (KGON).  You will hear the airborne aircraft only, I'm too far away to receive the tower.
