South Dakota State Radio (Right Channel), Brown County Sheriff, Aberdeen Fire, EMS, Rescue(left Channel), NWS

Both left and right channels are streaming 2 separate scanners.
Right Channel is SD State Radio (Apco-25), and any remaining legacy systems, Hwy Patrol, State Fire, Brown County Fire (analog), DOT, NWS with Alpha Tags.
Left Channel is now Brown County Sheriff, Fire, EMS, Rescue, Interagency, [NXDN48] No encryption, No Tags
APD is unfourtnately still encrypted. [NXDN96]

Note: The Aberdeen State Radio tower is on ID Search, this means that anything that comes across the [APCO-25] system will be broadcast.. This is not limited to Aberdeen, you may hear overflow traffic from other municipalities across the state and multiple agencies.

Some Dispatches will simutaneously broadcast on muliple systems (both channels). Example, Brown County Sherrif (L channel) may get dispatched to the same call as Highway Patrol (R channel), if this happens you will hear tone followed by an aleart that has a slight echo.. this is an indication that both parties were dispatched to the same scene, and will follow with further activity on both L&R channels.

Alpha Tags:

We recommend using Winamp to view alpha tags, this will allow full view of data that is provided when entities speak, it shows most agency names and location info. Download Winamp 5.9.2 (It is against policy to provide download links in feed details). After install open winamp and select File then Play URL and paste in the following:

APCO P25 Phase II Radio

Aberdeen Police voice channel is now encrypted and cannot be broadcast. Throughout 2020 and early 2021 they have migrated to a NEXTEDGE system NXDN96 (Next Gen Digital Narroband) with active enctryption. Stay tuned for updates on other agencies to follow.

Reporting Problems: There may be times were the feed may have issues and it is greatly appreciated when problems are reported however please ensure you are reporting problems for the correct audio feed and be sure to check your device, browser, and configuration prior to reporting. Most of the problems reported have resulted in user error for instance, (windows updates may have updated your browser and changed default player settings, or java add on has been disabled).
