This feed uses a BCD996XT scanning reciever sourced by a 6db colinear unidirectional VHF marine antenna, combined with a 3db aviation ground plane antenna. The recieving site is located in Astoria, Oregon approximately 150 feet above the Columbia River with line-of-site extending West to the mouth of the Columbia River at Cape Dissapointment and upriver to beyond Skomakawa, Washington East.

Local Aviation Unicom frequencies are: 122.800 (Astoria, Ore. airport) 122.900 (Ilwaco, Wa. and Seaside, Ore. airports) and 122.300 flight services.

Marine frequencies are: CH-9 (Columbia River Bar Pilots) CH-13 (Columbia River intership navigation bridge-to-bridge working frequency) and U.S.Coast Guard public marine radio channels 16, 21A, 22A, 23A, 81A, 82A and 83A  "Rescue-21" National Coast Guard Communication System maintained by U.S.C.G. Sector Columbia River.
