This feed will monitor the City of Cameron, MO Police, Fire and EMS agencies. In particular you will hear Cameron Police, Cameron Fire, Cameron EMS and Cameron Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), dispatch and response to incidents. During special events, additional channels will be added for your listening pleasure.
Cameron is located in Northwest Missouri at the intersections of I-35 and US 36, 'The Crossroads of the Nation'. The police department consists of 17 sworn full time officers, 5 reserve (volunteer officers) 9 communications personnel and a civilian administrative assistant. The fire department consists of 35 volunteer/paid by call firefighters. Cameron EMS is a separate tax based entity and runs 3 Advanced Life Support (ALS) units.
The Cameron CERT consists of 49 emergency service trained volunteers that assist the community with planned and unplanned (emergency) events. In addition, Cameron CERT is the sponsor of Boy Scout Venturing Crew Post 911. This is a co-ed group of teenagers who have an interest in emergency services and giving back to their community.
