As of 7/2012 the District 19 (Carmi) communications center was shutdown, officers are now being dispatched via District 13 (DuQuoin) on the existing District 19 talkgroups. Due to radio equipment issues and the rural nature of District 19's topography most if not all communication is being handeled via cellphone.
Antenna for this feed was replaced on 9-24-2012 with the AntennaCraft ST2 Scanner Antenna. I would highly recommend this antenna, but it's location must be pre-determined as it's height is 10 feet.
High winds pulled the antenna down around 11-20-2012 and a replacement had to be obtained. On 1-6-2013 an identical antenna replaced the damaged one.
