Feed Notes

This feed includes the following talkgroups on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg 800MHZ TRS:

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police
Police services are provided by Char-Meck Police in the City of Charlotte and all unincorporated Meck County. The County Police and City Police merged many years ago (1980's I believe) in a cost saving move. The sheriff has always just taken care of the jail, courts and service of warrants. Odd set up, and the only one that I know of in the state except Gaston county which still has County Police and Sheriff.
