The software I use, RadioFeed, says support for metatagas for Radio Shack scanners is coming soon. They've been saying that for some time, but when it's available, that function will be added.
My antenna is not a beam, but is omnidirectional, so I'm getting some distant signals on the same frequencies. If you hear noiser signals, those are more distant, and not in the immediate Cass County/Dowagiac area.
