Amateur repeater used for spotters to contact the National Weather Service office in Boulder, CO.

National Weather Service amateur radio call sign is "WXØDEN" or is referred to "National Weather Service Denver."

This repeater is very active during severe weather and covers an area from Ft. Collins to Denver to the Palmer Divide, and as far East as Limon. Normal amateur conversations occur outside of severe weather events.

The Colorado Weather Net also takes place everyday at 0630 Mountain Time on this repeater.  This net is where weather observers gather data and complie it to be passed on to the National Weather Service for statistical and record keeping purposes.
