Feed Notes

** UPDATED ** - 8/12/14 -

I am now using a Uniden Home Patrol HP-1 Scanner for this feed in order to be able to broadcast the digital Parker County Fire channels on this feed.  There will be times when I need to take the HP-1 Scanner with me and during those times I will switch this feed to an older (non-digital) scanner.  This will result in the loss of the digital Parker County Fire Channels during that time period.  Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have the funds to dedicate my digital scanners to broadcasting 100% of the time.  If you are interested in donating me to help me reach that goal there is a donate button on my feed notes below.

North Central Texas Rurual Fire and EMS Live!

This feed includes Fire and EMS activity from a five county area of North Central Texas.  The frequencies are received from my location in Denton County, TX.  The broadcast includes the following agencies and departments:

Wise County Fire/EMS
Decatur FD
Bridgeport FD
Rhome FD
Cooke County Fire
Parker County Fire
Grayson County Fire Dispatch
Texas Forest Service
Wildfire Aerial Support Air-Air and Air-Ground Frequencies

Because of the receiving distance of many of these frequencies reception may be weak or scratchy at times.  Also, many of these frequencies are "dispatch only" meaning that some tactical operations will not be heard. This is again due to the long distance between these counties and my location. Size-up's along with requests for additional resources and some tactical operations are heard on a regular basis however for most of these frequencies.  During wildfire season many of these counties are especially busy and this is the main reason I set up this broadcast.  The Texas Forest Service and Aerial Support frequencies will be active during the wildfire season on large fires.

***If you enjoy listening to this feed or any of my other audio feeds please consider sending a donation of any amount using the "Donate" button below!  Your donations will help me update equipment as radio systems are upgraded and keep the live scanners running in the future.  Thanks so much for your help!***
