STEARNS, BENTON, SHERBURNE, WRIGHT COUNTY: POLICE, FIRE, SHERIFF, EMS, STATE PATROL, MNDOT Snowplows

** Note that lately my ISP is down sporadically for a few minutes, a couple times daily. Should you lose audio or scanner goes offline, please be patient and try to reconnect after waiting a few minutes. It is my hope that they resolve these connection issues soon. Scheduled outages for scanner reprogramming, antenna maintenance, etc, will be advertised in advance of these activities, along with an ETA for restoration.

Equipment:

Radio Shack PRO-197 Digital & Analog Scanner; with analog channel / digital talkgroup delays set at 2 or 3 seconds

** All police & fire departments in Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne Co are dispatched by their respective sheriff's offices.

To help distinguish the major agencies, the following tones are generated when the scanner stops on a transmission:
Single fast short beep = St. Cloud Police (9xxx units)
Hi + Low tone twice = St. Cloud Fire
2 fast short beeps = Stearns Co Sheriff & county PD's (dispatched by sheriff's office "2500")
Single DTMF ("touch-tone") tone = Benton Co Sheriff & county PD's (dispatched by sheriff's office "4500")
