Feed Notes

Here is my feed broadcasting the largest amount of area and municipalities in Jackson County, MO and some surrounding counties. My feed broadcasts radio transmitions for Jackson County Sheriff and Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A as well as Police, Fire, and EMS of most cities in Jackson County using a Uniden Bearcat Trucktracker BCT15X analog trunk system scanner attached to an eight foot "Hustler" antenna. Feed is almost available 24/7 with only small times where the feed goes down for maintainence. I broadcast from the Lone Jack/ Lee's Summit area so reception is best up to a 30+ mile radius from there. Feed is broadcasting sending Alpha Tags along with the feed, allowing users to see specifically what they are hearing at any given moment. Listening to my scanner is a hobby of mine, I have programmed my scanner with software containing all freqencies provided to me by radioreference.com and the FCC. When listening to my scanner through the internet or on your phone, the players I would reccomend using for alpha tags is iTunes or the Scanner Radio Deluxe for the iPhone or a similar app for android. I also happen to sit on one of the highest points in Jackson County, MO. Been surprised with the quality of the receptions I'm getting and listen to it on my iPhone as well. It's hooked into my line in port on a stationary PC working with a 24hr DSL connection. I will be making changes from time to time to try and make the feed come through better, so the feed could go down temporarily every now and then while I make adjustments. Have any suggestions or comments about my feed or its content, please email me at madmax1991@msn.com. Enjoy!

I often listen to the scanner and any important events I hear get posted on the main feed information section, appearing in red bold face lettering.
