Lapeer County Public Safety
The Lapeer Co. digital simulcast cell is online as of 12/18/12. The old analog TRS has been takin off-line for good. By overhauling the old system and integrating into the MPSCS, not only does this give Lapeer County a fully modern radio system for first responders, but also places them on the same interoperability platform as their neighboring counties, with the exception of Oakland. Likewise, local agencies will be able to choose from various equipment vendors and obtain radio equipment at more competitive prices. **update 12/22
