This is a stereo rail feed from New Haven county, streaming road channels from two local railroads.
One channel is Amtrak, and the other is Metro North Railroad.
The Amtrak "Springfield Line" and the "Shore Line" merge at what you will hear called "Mill River" interlocking.
Only a little farther west of there hese two railroads merge in New Haven where the tracks meet at what you will hear called the "division post".
On the Amtrak channel you can hear action on the southern end of the "Springfield line", and the some of the activity on the "Shore line".
On the Metro North channel you will hear the activity on the "New Haven line, district F and district G".
