Las Vegas Metro Police Status: Well, it looks like Las Vegas Metro Police finally pullled the plug on their patched VHF system and are now completely on the new OpenSky (DesertSky) system. Feed will be taken down at 8am Pacific time. It's over. Thanks all for years of listening. |

I live within the Northeast Area Command and usually leave the scanner on that channel when I'm out and about or at work. If I happen to be home and in front of the scanner actively listening and a priority call comes in, I will switch the scanner to that channel so that the incident can be heard.
