The ACM scanner is located in Allegany County Maryland on top of a ridge about 1000 feet over looking the city of Cumberland Maryland. From this vantage point we cover all areas of Allegany County plus Fire and Police in Garrett County.

The four Allegany County Maryland Mountain Top Scanners sit about 1000' overlooking the city of Cumberland Md. They scan Cumberland City Police, Maryland State Police (Wash, Alleg, Fred and Garrett County). It scans all Allegany County Md, fire and selected EMS channels, We are currently running a seperate scanner for West Virginia EMS Fire and EMS feeds and a seperate scanner dedicated to the Maryland State police in the three western couties in Md. Also included are some Fire and EMS channels from Bedford County in Pensylvania. This main scanner is also scanning the Passport system that is currently only beiing used on the Cumberland city Fire channels. A seperate scanner monitors the new "WAN" (wide area network) amateur radio network in our area plus adjoining states. Comments are welcome and should be sent to Kasey@acmscanner.com
