This is the new Clark County Sheriff radio system on MARCS. It is the same system that OSP uses, and I am monitoring Springfield, Dayton and District HQ Piqua as well as Careflight.
Clark County recently changed how deputies are identified and they now use their badge number, such as 2009, to call twelve hundred, which is Dispatch.Most radio traffic is used with plain English
I am feeding two scanners with feeds of MARCS radio trafic and the old hi band fire channels, just like before , same radio same signal strength. MARCS radio traffic and CCSO will be a slightly louder volume and clearer than fire. Hope you enjoy getting fire back again.
