Cumberland County is NOW scanning. It is digital so older scanner will not pick up there audio. You must have a digital scanner or listen to this feed for free. The City of Crossville is also on same feed so your listening to both the sheriff and police. The only way to tell the difference between the 2 is that the City Police Department and Fire Department has a short CHIRP tone when there is a transmition and Cumberland County Sheriff, EMS, and Fire does not have a tone.
Thanks for listening.. I broadcast the Cumberland County Sheriff, County Fire, EMS, Crossville Police and Fire Depaprtment LIVE!!!. I try to keep feed going 24/7 but sometimes I have internet problems or have to refresh computer. If feed is not running please check back shortly. If this feed is good for you i'd like to hear from you. Drop me an email at (n5oya@hotmail.com). Thanks again for listening and hope you enjoy. Floyd N5OYA (ham radio operator)
Below i have included a copy of the codes but If you need a copy of the 10 codes that tells you what the codes mean when the officers are communicating just email me and i will be glad send you a copy free of charge. Have fun listening.
We have now installed a digital scanner so everyone can listen to the Cumberland County agancies with the new p25 system. We have an alert set for the City of Crossville agencies. When you hear a short CHIRP tone that is the City Police and Fire. If you hear no tone before a transmission that is the Cumberland County Sheriff, EMS or Fire. At this point you should be hearing everything dealing with emergency service. ENJOY!! If anyone knows the frequencies for the Tennessee highway patrol please email them to above email address. thanks
**There is abt a 20 second delay from the time the scanner hears a signal to the time YOU actually receive it. It has to go though the internet and reach your computer so this is why there is a short delay.**
If anyone has a digital scanner and can't figure out how to program it I will be glad to do it for you. It takes abt 30 seconds to program. I dont add any of the other garbage that our local radio shack adds like water department, electric department, ect that you dont even care about. Only the important stuff, LAW enforcement that you want to hear. We include the surrounding counties of Cumberland County in different banks so you can easily lock out if you dont want to listen plus knoxville and nashville p25 system. I do this free of charge.
click on links below and read...thanks
IF any one has the acutal codes FROM the Cunberland County Sheriff or the Crossville Police Department uses I'd like to get a copy. Just email and we will get together. Thanks
