DSTAR (Digital Smart Technologies for Amateur Radio) is an Amateur Radio digital communication mode. Without a DSTAR radio or interface, you canno not listen to DSTAR conversations.
This connection is to REFLECTOR 010 port C, the New England reflector. Reflector 10 C usually has several DSTAR repeaters linked full time to it from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhodes Island as well as some from around the country on occassion.
In addition there are many PC nodes (DVDONGLES,DV Access points (DVAP) and Hot SPots) connected. This feed is not very busy during the day. Audio is usually heard during the evenings and on weekends.
I would like to thank Bruce Marcus of Marcus Communications in Manchester Connecticut, "www.MarcusRadio.com ", for providing a DSTAR DV Dongle interface. To see who is on the DSTAR reflector, goto http://w1fjm.com/Ref010activity.php5 .
The following repeaters are among the sources for audio, but this is not, and cannot be, an exhaustive list, as the number of the repeaters linked changes daily:" In addition to the list below other states and countries may link repeaters to the reflector as well.
