Feed Notes

This feed will provide basic dispatch coverage of the VHF Police, Fire and EMS communications in Gibson County.  I am now including some of the Hoosier Safe-T 800 mhz trunking system talkgroups that affect Gibson County.

These talkgroups include: Indiana State Police Dispatch, DNR South Region, Indiana Homeland Security Dispatch and the EOC, several District and Statewide Mutual Aid groups.

NOTE: No LEO Tactical Talk Groups are included, "DISPATCH" only.

Fire Dispatch and Fire Ground and EMS Dispatch Talk Groups from Gibson County, ISP Dispatch, DNR South Region, as well as local and Statewide Mutual Aid Talk Groups are included on the 800 mhz Safe-T system. Also, no talkgroups used for tactical communications are being broadcast.

(Note: on the mutual aid talk groups you will hear agencies outside of Gibson County including some from across the state depending on which mutual aid talkgroup they are using. Some talkgroups are statewide).

At times (if I am home), I may limit some channels/talkgroups if there is an incident happening in Gibson County and other communications disrupt it.

Gibson County Sheriff, Princeton Police, Oakland City Police, Ft. Branch Police, Haubstadt Police, Owensville Police, Patoka Marshal, Francisco Marshal, Gibson County Fire Dispatch (which includes 16 different fire depts) and Gibson County EMS are all Dispatched through Gibson County Central Dispatch.

Six frequencies (vhf) are covered.

155.595 Gibson County Law Enforcement

159.165 Princeton Police

154.980 Countywide Fire/EMS Paging (This channel is used for dispatch only. No mobile traffic here)

NOTE: The next three channels are simplex only. Although dispatch, portable radios and mobiles use these channels, unless the mobiles and portables are within direct receiving range of my scanner, they will not be heard.
