LIVE from Cane Bay in Berkeley County... Berkelely County South Repeater (non-scanning).
Main use is for live audio via web and cell phones. it also serves as alerting station for South End Fire Depts via Cell phone. To follow then and listen to the calls or subscribe go to the posterous sites below. Currently when a call is dispatched, we are using a program to alert and record the dispatch then send it to members cell phones. This will alert out all members even if they don't have their pagers or are out of the area or in a location where their pagers would not be allowed or would not alert. We are currently upgrading and expanding the system, North End of Berkeley County as well and Summerville City and Goose Creek City are planned with the next upgrade.
