This feed will be monitoring the county wide UHF fire dispatch channel for Clay County, as well as the Clay County Rescue Squad main dispatch channel. The UHF fire dispatch is simulcast across four repeaters located around the county operating on frequency 453.6250. All fire departments in Clay County are completely volunteer. Clay County Rescue squad has a single repeater tower it is dispatched from, operating on frequency 159.180. The Rescue Squad is a combination paid and volunteer service conducting both search and rescue operations, and providing all of the county EMS coverage. It is notable that Clay County Rescue Squad provides search and rescue services for Cheaha mountain, the highest point in the state of Alabama.
