Marine/Coast Guard  and some Aviation Frequencies in the Southern RI area and nearby SE CT

This audio feed has changed its focus to  primarily Marine channels.   I recently removed mostof the aviation frequencies  because it was simply too much radio traffic to listen to.   I still carry the air emergency, FAA Flight Watch, Flight Service frequencies as well as Lifestar Medevac helicopter operations.   Marine channel 16 has been set to priority (that is the slight blip you hear every 2 seconds when listening to other channels).

Unfortunately, Broadcastify policies prevent me from carrying military aviation and certain Coast Guard  frequencies which are in the military bands.  I can and do carry all Coast Guard frequencies that operate on the normal VHF marine band.

Alpha text is available to show you what frequencies you are hearing.  This is available when using certain apps such as Scanner Radio.

122.6 Flight Service via  RCO PVD

122.3  Flight Service via RCO Quonset

121.5  Air Emergency & Distress Frequency, referred to as "Guard"

123.1  Air Search & Rescue Coordination involving multiple agencies

155.385 LifeStar Medical Helicopter Operations

Receiver is located in Hopkinton, RI.  Receiver is a Uniden Bearcat 785XLT.  Antenna is a  DB222, a commercial grade dual dipole array at approximately 35 feet above ground,  fed with LMR600 coax cable. I will continue efforts to improve reception of vessels but my distance  to the coast and terrain makes it challenging.
