The Lake Area Amateur Radio Klub is located in The Colony, Texas (south Denton County), and serves all the communities surrounding Lewisville Lake, including The Colony, Frisco, Little Elm, Highland Village, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Flower Mound, Corinth and Lewisville.

The LAARK has a 2m repeater, on a frequency of 147.380 with a +.600 offset and a PL tone of 110.9. Our repeater is open to use and we welcome ALL Hams to join us anytime on the air and use the repeater freely.

We have weekly 2m radio nets every Tuesday at 8pm (Central Time), except for meeting nights which are the second Tuesday of each month.

In addition to our 2m meter system, we also have digital Yaesu Fusion, Wires-X repeater on a frequency of 443.300 with a +5.00 offset and a PL tone of 110.9 as well as a 1.25m repeater on a frequency of 224.000 with a -1.6 mHz and a PL tone of 110.9.
