Feed Notes

This Live Scanner Feed is donated to you by myself.  I am a radio and scanner hobbyist, and like to share my interest.  I have done this for many years and would like to thank my loyal listeners.

It has taken me a great deal of time and money to make this as enjoyable as it is for everyone, and I continue strive to make it better for you all, that being said,  I am always open to comments, suggestions and questions, so please feel free to contact me VIA Private Message.

On this feed you will hear various Emergency service agencies at work, as its happening, within clear receivable range of my station located in the central part  of Red Deer Alberta Canada.

Channel List consists of

Red Deer County Wide UHF Repeater(Delburne, Elnora, Bowden, Spruceview, Caroline) Penhold,  Innisfail, Sylvan Lake, Blackfalds, Lacombe, Red Deer County Local VHF Repeater, Drumheller(Dispatch Side Only),  Red Deer City Fire/EMS(On The City 800Mhz Trunk System)

RCMP Detatchments

Blackfalds, Red Deer City, Innisfail, Sylvan Lake Sometimes Ponoka on a good day and the Lacombe Police Service, Which Utilizes RCMP PACS B8 Repeater and  the southern Alberta RCMP (O.C.C.) Operations Control Center, also referred to as "TELECOMMS" located in Red Deer.  This agency  takes care of everything from Ponoka to the US Boarder, including Calgary RCMP.

The RCMP currently use an obsolete system called PACS - Province of Alberta Communications System and will be switching to a digital P25 700MHz System eventually, known as the AFRRCS - Alberta First Responders' Radio Communications System, apparently work has started on this system, but we have invested some money and are ready for the switch.
