Feed will be Pennsylvania Turnpike operations for districts 4 and 5 in Eastern / Northeastern PA. Also included in the feed will be Montgomery County EMS.
This feed includes:
1. PA Turnpike:
State police operations, maintenance and motorist assist. Multiple local agencies also provide fire and EMS services for incidents on the turnpike. That activity will be heard here as well.
The turnpike system uses a series of linked repeaters over the system and the east/west and north/south turnpike includes 5 districts. This feed will provide districts 4 and 5 - see description of those coverage areas below. The turnpike radio system is used by various agencies: Normal police activities plus the maintenance vehicles are there as well. EMS and fire is provided by local emergency services and not owned by the turnpike. Therefore there are dozens of fire/ems agencies that provide services depending where on the turnpike the assistance is needed.
