Here is the best way to distinguish what call signs are what units:
Numbered units (100-199) are Lincoln County Sheriff zone cars/units
City of Lincolnton PD units are referred to as "City Cars", small city only a couple PD units on duty at a time, but generally both Lincolnton City PD and Lincoln County Sheriff run together quite frequently standardly as mutual aid
"Medic" units are the County EMS Ambulances
"EMS" call sign is the County EMS Medic Supervisor(s)
580-589 units are the Lincoln Rescue Squad station vehicles
590-599 units are Lincoln Rescue Squad Officers/Supervisors
600-640 units are Lincoln Rescue Squad Members/POV units
800 series units are West Lincoln Rescue Squad Members/Vehicles
County EMS is a 2-tiered system, EMS calls are dispatched to the Ambulances and Rescue Squads at the same time & both respond to the scene, usually Rescue Squads arrive first & start patient care/scene size-up
