Frequencies: Avon Police (453.0500MHz) Avon Fire (460.5750MHz).
Equipment: Radio Shack Pro-2006 with Channel Master roof antenna Monitoring towns of Avon, CT police and fire/ems, connected through an older Compaq laptop to provide a couple of hours of battery backup. These are conventional frequencies. There will be no alpha tags. The feed will be a single channel feed which scans the two frequencies. I may upgrade the feeds in the future to provide additional local feeds with their own channels depending on traffic and usage.Note: I would really like to stream the CMED North Central frequencies, but I believe this would violate the Radio Reference agreement.
Please note: Due to some recent computer issues, I have implemented an automated system reboot at 12am and 6am (EST). The reboot process takes less than 5 minutes and accomodates software updates etc. If the feed is down, I will do my best to get it back-up and running as soon as possible.
